Day 451: The Best Healthcare? Only possible with a Living Income Guaranteed

I would like to talk about the 3rd leading cause of Death in the United states, Iatrogenic Disease, also known as ‘medical malpractice’ and the state of our Healthcare system, taking the USA as a -bad- example.

Here some extracts from articles about it:

Medical Mistakes Often UnreportedDetroit News

Based on a recent report by the Institute of Medicine, which estimates 36 error-related hospital deaths per 100,000 people, 3,534 Michiganians died last year due to medical mistakes.

Patients reported 2,027 complaints about health care organizations to the state, but Tom Lindsay, director of the Michigan Bureau of Health Services, said those likely represent just a fraction of the mistakes.

Medical MistakesNew York Times

The NEW YORK TIMES reported that 5% of people admitted to hospitals, or about 1.8 million people per year, in the U.S. pick up an infection while there. Such infections are called “iatrogenic” — meaning “induced by a physician,” or, more loosely, “caused by medical care.”

Iatrogenic infections are directly responsible for 20,000 deaths among hospital patients in the U.S. each year, and they contribute to an additional 70,000 deaths, according to the federal Centers for Disease Control CDC). The dollar cost of iatrogenic infections is $4.5 billion, according to the CDC.

National Patient Safety Foundation

A new poll from the nonprofit National Patient Safety Foundation (NPSF) finds that 42 percent of people say they’ve been affected by physician errors, either directly or through a friend or relative.

If the survey of roughly 1,500 people accurately represents the general public, it could mean that more than 100 million Americans have experience with medical mistakes.

More alarming, according to the survey, is the fact that in one out of three cases the error permanently harmed the patient’s health.

Dr. Leape is a board member of the NPSF, which was founded by the American Medical Association in June of this year to improve health care safety.

AMA leaders say it’s time to bring the issue out into the open, rather than living in constant fear that any admission of error will launch a flood of malpractice lawsuits.

Leape’s own research has shown that the tally of medical mistakes made each year could reach 3 million, with total costs as high as $200 billion.

The survey found that 40 percent of the people who had experienced a medical mistake pointed to misdiagnoses and wrong treatments as the problem. Medication errors accounted for 28 percent of mistakes.

And 22 percent of respondents reported slip-ups during medical procedures.

Half of the errors occurred in hospitals, and 22 percent in doctors’ offices.

“It’s really a joke to worry about the occasional plane that goes down when we have thousands of people who are killed in hospitals every year.” Brook’s recognition of the extent of hospital errors is shared by many of medicine’s leaders.

Care — not treatment — is the answer. Drugs, surgery and hospitals become increasingly dangerous for chronic disease cases. Facilitating the God-given healing capacity by improving the diet, exercise, and lifestyle is the key.

Effective interventions for the underlying emotional and spiritual wounding behind most chronic disease is critical for the reinvention of our medical paradigm. These numbers suggest that reinvention of our medical paradigm is called for.

I would like to say that not all doctors are butchers, in Italy, a candid repented Mafia man exposed the story of when he sat at university as a ‘professor’ to grant some a degree in medicine as a favour to their families, my guess would be those would not make the best physicians having hardly seen a biology book in their lives, but there are many dedicated doctors who understand and embrace the principle of ‘do no harm’ -which given the statistics would be a good start- and who really want to make a difference in people’s lives.

Often times these doctors find themselves in the impossible position against big systems and corporations, unable to move out of accepted medical para-dimes for profit, feeling trapped and discontented with the system the way it is and unable to change it, unable to step out of it and even unable to expose it, in fear for their survival.

Take Homeopathy for example, the medicines are very cheap, highly affordable, I have been reading blogs of Indian homeopaths that cure people in the Mac Giver’s fashion, testing simple remedies and maximizing what they have to alleviate suffering, exchanging ideas, treatments, creating effective webs of support for those that can’t even afford to be killed by traditional medicine. All this without moving money.

And what do we do with them? We deride them, we call them insane, tell them about their ‘sweet pill’ that will not solve anything, we publish articles to denigrate their studies and turn them into nutcases, dismissing our chances to understand more about our personalities and the role they play in our health – did you know for example that some people with multiple personalities disorder had severe allergies to a specific food only when ’embodying’ one specific personality and not others? This alone should make us rethink the way we approach healthcare, aren’t we all ‘multiple personality’ people?
We could humble ourselves for once and admit the truth, which is that we know little about how the body works holistically and we need all the help we can find to work it out.

Take this Wikipedia reference to Homeopathy for disinformation

Continued homeopathic practice, despite the evidence that it does not work, has been criticized as unethical because it increases the suffering of patients by discouraging the use of real medicine, with the World Health Organisation warning against using homeopathy to try to treat severe diseases such as HIV and malaria. The continued practice, despite a lack of evidence of efficacy, has led to homeopathy being characterized within the scientific and medical communities as nonsense, quackery, or a sham.

The British House of Commons Science and Technology Committee has stated: “In our view, the systematic reviews and meta-analyses conclusively demonstrate that homeopathic products perform no better than placebos. The Government shares our interpretation of the evidence.

I have actually had exceptional personal experiences with Homeopathy, so not only I cannot support this claim about its inefficacy but I want to point out that statements like these only expose the system we have created, a profit-making machine with no concern for life and the well-being of all.

Hasn’t the establishment’ been trying to treat HIV unsuccessfully for decades? SO why don’t we find this mentioned or iatrogenic disease, as the third leading cause of death in the USA alone, under ‘Medicine’?

Why don’t we find information about the Queen of England and other Royals using Homeopathy – is she dumb? Uninformed? Didn’t she get the memo from the house of Lords about Homeopathy NOT performing better than placebos? Mysteries of the world we live in.

While I read many many pages on homeopathy to understand better its principles  I found a very telling quote that I wish to share

Usually in homeopathy one gets cases that have “tried everything else”. One of the contributory factors to the problem is the demand by the public that unpleasant discharges of whatever nature are immediately suppressed. Antibiotics do this, but as Prof. J.T.Kent points out on p909 of his lectures

“… The great mischief done by allopaths is due to the fact that they want to cover up everything that is in the economy.
They act as if ashamed of everything in the human race: whereas homeopathy endeavors to reveal everything in the human race and to antidote those drugs that cover up, and to free those diseases that are held down. It is true that many patients will not have homeopathy because they do not want the evidences of their indiscretion brought to light, but homeopathy endeavors to do that. Conditions that are in the economy will come out under proper homeopathic treatment.

There you go, the Secret about Why homeopathy is not even wanted to be considered in an unbiased way, not even considering the remarkable success on the cases that Allopathic medicine could not treat.

To be succesful in treating someone with homeopathy, a lot of very personal details are collected, one’s relationship to oneself, to one own’s mind, to others, to sexuality, dreams, food preferences, sleep patterns, it takes a degree of self honesty to be able to bring everything to the table to seek for a remedy because homeopathic remedies are specific, truly detailed archetypes of our personalities at play – and some are very nasty, who wants to say ‘yes, I am like that at the moment’?

So, the reason why homeopathy has not performed as well as it could have in our testing, rests in one of our greatest mistakes, our lack of self honesty, our lack of accountability for who we have become so much so that we would miss out on the opportunity for physical support if able to keep the masks on. Who wants to say ‘yes I am selfish, jealous, have dreams of killing people or raping them?’ Who wants to be ‘that kind of person’ – even when they are?

Incidentally, as I looked through hundreds of remedy I stumbled on the ‘Personality’ of one of my clients, it was astonishing and humbling to read, it made me realize that I had judged her as not wanting to ‘snap out of it’ when in fact some of our personalities really end up becoming pathological, the person no longer has the capacity to snap out of what has been created and embodied through time, hence, when we are tempted to judge someone we should stop and remind ourselves there are so many layers to this existence we are not aware of and that many diseases are just patterns playing out – it would help to see we are not dealing with evil people  but with evil patterns handed down from GENErations to GENEration – that are now embodied in people, in all of us.

To be able to rewrite our healthcare system in a way that considers more layers of what a ‘healthy human’ should function like, we need the freedom to do so.

For sure homeopathy will not hold all answers, nor is allopathic medicine completely dumb and yet we will never know what works best unless we un-link medicine from profit-making and return it to a noble practice of CARE first and foremost.

In this a Living Income Guaranteed will be our greatest ally, many would make different choices if they could, if we didn’t fault everything that we can’t see how to monetize, like homeopathy, we would be better off for that, we could take the best out of each practice and we could guarantee that our doctors, those truly devoted to the well-being of others, would have the freedom to move, to choose, to expose what doesn’t work and drive it to a solution, because their lives wouldn’t be on the line and that is when our expansion into taking care of others take place. We have to move our doctors beyond survival to reap the benefits of their abilities, their unbiased studies and concern for humanity.

If you have been looking at ways to change out healthcare system, consider a #livingincomeguaranteed, we could guarantee that each doctor has their life given back, free of charges, guaranteed, and we give ourselves and each other a life as a given, not as a struggle or as a debt or as a bond, then fixing the nuts and bolts of the matter will be an easy task that we can accomplish in one lifetime.

Join the discussion, share, care, let’s rethink this world to make it work for all.
It’s possible and it’s up to us to decide if we want to support Life or Death – in between there is nothing left.

Day 390: Would you like French Fries with Your World War III ?

In the past few weeks in the news much disinformation designed to fire up our hearts in favour of a possible war (intervention/self-defence/ threat prevention -anyone?) has been going on.

First was Crimea, a hard to pass on opportunity to stir up some trouble and now is Iran – what this spells out to me personally is how desperate this system is to go to war, mind you, not a minor hit and run, no, a long miserable one that will take down half the world and kill billions of people.

The time is ripe, we have done it before, during time of great recessions we sought the opportunity to revamp the economy by starting a war – insane? Yes.  A lesson we learned? Hopefully
A danger ahead? Possibly, if we don’t see through what is going on and take about 100 steps back.

We are now in the nuclear era, led by some who are either too senile and therefore unconcerned of the consequences of what they will lave behind, being with one foot in the grave already, or too greedy to wait to pile up trillions at their regular everyday pace – see the Koch brothers who have seen their assets grow at the rate of 30 million dollars per hour based on a 40 hour/week calculation, obviously not enough.

Crimea was kept under the tight grip of Putin who managed to avoid the escalating of the situation into international interference aka before the USA felt they should be the ones bringing Democracy to Crimea – since by now we are all aware of the cost of US Democracy around the world and finally the statement – We’ll bring Democracy to you – is rightly perceived more as a threat than a promise.

We are left with the Middle East, ah, thanks god for the Middle East, if it were not for the warmongering Israel where could we hope to start another world conflict? It would be hard to concoct a perfect situation such as that of Israel, living in fear that some may question the original point of its creation and dispossess them of what they took unjustly, illegally one could say, by force and abuse – but we can’t say this because they have his-story, the one they wrote themselves and reinforce every year at the sound of billions of dollars in the mind of as many people as they can reach with all the Holocaust remembrance days, designed for the purpose of highlighting that they are entitled to a restitution for their losses (the contested 6 millions number) – even though over 70 millions died in world war II that were Non Jews and hence, obviously, of a lesser value on the human trading floor.

I want to say to both the Israelis people and the Palestinian people just one thing, chapeau, because the Zionist governments that have succeeded at the helm of Israel would have liked much more involvement in wars and offensives that did not take place because of the people saying ‘Not in My Name‘ , because of people who had the courage to refuse and state that

participating in directives that were only aimed at destroying human lives in the name of self-defence, people who realized that their common bereavement could become the ground on which they could build a different future like ‘The Parents Circle‘ whose story really touched my heart, where people got together to support each other for their losses across an imaginary border, designed to divide us and make us believe we are different and not striving for the same better lives for ourselves and our family, all those things show that we have the power to say no, we don’t have to go along with Nazi, Zionist, or any other agenda aimed at destroying some for the upliftment of others, instead we can reach out to each other and hold each other in honour, work together to create a world that works for all, design a system of care, to take care of each other and end all wars.

We have envisioned a solution to end all wars through a #living income guaranteed, many people are now enticed if not forced to join the army and many more might be, as our economic situation worsen due to some holding the keys to the wellbeing of humanity and not being willing to let go, but what we forgot is that we were always the power, the power to get involved and stand for a different Life that would be inclusive of all living beings and not exclusive, that would consider that Life is the true treasure we have externalized in meaningless desires as we accepted the prompting of a system designed to consume everything on its wake, ourselves included.

To do this we’ll have to end all wars inside of ourselves, we will have to find the strength to forgive ourselves and everyone for how we have participated in this world, it’s not impossible, in fact it’s mandatory that we start considering how to go about doing just that, because peace can only come when everyone ends all claims of restitution and accepts that this is where we are, sets the target to where we want to be and in mutual cooperation moves toward the end result we seek.

A world of peace is in our reach, we have to stop listening to warmongering propaganda and see the world for what it is at the moment, a broken ensemble of abuses that span from dishonesty to violence and horrific lives and see how we can heal together, if we gave a guaranteed living to everyone, regardless of their creed, race, gender or geographical positioning, who would need to go to war for ‘a living’ – and what an oxymoron ? No one.
And if those that insists wars are good ideas so those on top can make another truck load of money, will be forced into either reviewing their stand and stop those WarGames for the sake of profit or be reformed into people who stop seeking value in Death, specifically in the Death of Others, vs recognizing the equal value of All in/as Life.

If you no longer want any wars fought in your name, consider the solution of freeing everyone from the need to survive and to those that keep lying and demand the engagement into war for profit or power and try to destitute your stand by calling you ‘diminishing’ names to prompt your Ego and Pride into foolish decisions, we will have the Freedom to say NO, not in my name, not now, not again, not ever more, or, as the Irish would say ‘just fack off’.
That will do too.

A Living Income Guaranteed has no gender, religious, ethnic, colour or national boundaries, it is a program to uplift Humanity and you can be a part of it, you only need to want a better Life for All and that is not too much to ask.
Join us.

What you should know:

Iran vs Israel: What The Media Wants You To Forget

By Michael Rivero

The corporate media have been given their orders to throw the focus back on to Iran.

Here is a recap of what they are trying to make you forget.

1. In 2009, Rose Gottemoeller, an assistant secretary of state and Washington’s chief nuclear arms negotiator, asked Israel to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. Israel refused.

2. In 2009. the United Nations passed a resolution calling on Israel to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and to submit to inspections. The UN General Assembly passed a similar resolution in 2012 calling for inspections. Israel refused.

3. The IAEA asked Israel to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and to submit to inspections. Israel refused.

4. Iran’s formal notification to the IAEA of the planned construction of the backup fuel-rod facility underscores that Iran is playing by the rules of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty which Iran has signed.

5. Iran allows IAEA inspections of all its facilities.

6. Contrary to face-saving claims, it appears that the US and Israel were both caught off guard by Iran’s announcement of a planned underground (to avoid being bombed) enrichment facility. The reasoning is simple. Had the US or Israel announced the existence of he new facility before Iran’s notified the IAEA, it would have put Iran on the defensive. As it is now, the US and Israel seem to be playing catch up, casting doubt on the veracity of Israel’s claims to “know” that Iran is a nuclear threat.

7. The IAEA and all 16 United States Intelligence Agencies are unanimous in agreement that Iran is not building and does not possess nuclear weapons.

8. In 1986, Mordachai Vanunu blew the whistle and provided photographs showing Israel’s clandestine nuclear weapons factory underneath the reactor at Dimona.

9. Israel made the same accusations against Iraq that it is making against Iran, leading up to Israel’s bombing of the power station at Osirik. Following the invasion of 2003, international experts examined the ruins of the power station at Osirik and found no evidence of a clandestine weapons factory in the rubble.

10. The United Nations has just released the Goldstone Report, a scathing report which accuses Israel of 37 specific war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza earlier this year. Israel has denounced the report as “Anti-Semitic (even though Judge Goldstone is himself Jewish), and the United States will block the report from being referred to the War Crimes Tribunal at the Hague, thereby making the US Government an accessory after-the-fact.

11. Recently revealed documents prove not only that Israel has nuclear weapos, but actually tried to sell some to Apartheid South Africa. Who else Israel approached to sell nuclear weapons remains an unasked question.

12. In 1965, Israel stole over 200-600 pounds of weapons-grade uranium from the United States.

13. Declassified documents from the former South African regime prove not only that Israel has had nuclear weapons for decades, but has tried to sell them to other countries!

14: No less a source than the Jerusalem Post confirms that Israel has armed their German-supplied Dolphin submarines with nuclear-tipped cruise missiles.

We all need to be Joe Wilson right now. We need to stand up and scream, “LIAR!” at every politician and every talking media moron that is pushing this war in Iran. And we need to keep doing it until they get the message that we will not be deceived any more.

Day 366: Less than 1 Euro a Day to save a Child

Image

Christmas is coming.

They say ‘Tis the season to be jolly and the season to be good.
This is why Charities capitalize on this time of the year, they ‘prey’ on those that are getting close to the day when everyone wows to be good, they know we are looking for good things to do to build up our Good Christmas Character.

Yesterday in my mail box there was the letter from my neighbouring church, it was a melancholic letter outlining how much we have lost the spirit of Christmas, how much we forgot about the man who came to remind us what it was all about – it’s about Giving, they reminded us.

It was meant to move us to do just that, Giving, the 2 enclosed envelopes told us to whom, that framed the letter into its real meaning, it was a reminder that we must give to them, in the specific, to those who vow to be the intermediaries between us and God, the trade union between the Earth and the infinite Goodness of the Creator.

The Church in Italy is a Corporation, it would be important to never forget this because then we would reward them based on performance and as far as having brought a solution to this world they just plainly sucked, so there should be no Bonus given in any form at the end of the year, especially not under the guise of giving to help others. Who are those ‘others’ that we are manipulated to believe would be at the receiving end of our charity?  And why those who are in direct contact with God are not asking the Almighty to send some cash, but wait, they are, everyone prays for Money the whole year around, we turn to each other only when the promise of a Divine reward fails us, which lately seems to be just about every-time we ask, ask and it is given apparently was never comprehensive of the money package, if it were we would never have reached this level of Inequality because most people -if not All, everyday, are asking for Money to one god or another.

Now, on our TVs for the past few weeks we had the ad of Action Aid going incessantly, they claim that with less than 1 euro a day we can save a child’s life, they say they have been involved in every developing country for over 20 years, not that we noticed because children are dying in the thousands still every single day, instead what we can see now, with all this freedom of information is that the CEOs of those Charities are taking home in the range of 100.000/year in remuneration, this is from their website

‘ActionAid’s Richard Miller – who earned just under £88,900 last year – was featured in recent media coverage on executive pay because we are a member of the DEC.

We believe it’s important that senior staff are not paid more than is necessary to recruit and retain high quality people and – as many supporters who have met Richard know – his role is demanding and complex. His job is to lead and manage a £60 million-a-year operation to deliver the best possible outcomes for the world’s poorest and most marginalised women, men and children.’

So, if we are to treat Charities for the Corporations they are, why are their CEOs paid close to 10.000 US per month, what is the target they are achieving to be entitled to such wages in a profit driven system?

Their target is NOT to find a solution to the problems of Poverty, if THAT was their target and less than 1 euro a day could save a child, with the money they raise at Action Aid they could save 2 million children a year – for 1 year – and we would have heard about them all year around and not just at Christmas. This of course ONLY if the operation costs of a charity of that size were NIL, which is obviously not the case, because even Charity people must eat and live and that costs Money.

Here is a link to a site called Charity Watch, where they explain the mechanics of what is involved cost wise to run a fund raising operation, the details of each charity are on sale, because we must buy our right to make a wise decision about where to send our charitable money, information in this time and age = money, or we could use our own brain to work out that Corporations that have an operating and marketing costs above 50% of what they raise, are in the Charity Business, if it didn’t make money you would not have so many Charities, so no matter what the claim is, they are selling us a product, they are selling us the immunity for our guilt at having had it easier, better and way above others for no specific reason but just because we got lucky at this Casino Capitalistic System.

If it takes less than 1 euro a day to save a child, why are we not giving it for all the children of the world, why are we not giving to all those that need a Life the chance to get one, why do we trust Corporations to do it on our behalf, is it because they make a good website and line up some feel good words about how useful it would be for the world if we gave some of what we don’t REALLY need to level the field with those that have nothing?

Then, if we consider Charity as a solution, why are we not considering The Solution to Charity instead?

Charity exists because we accept Inequality and abject Injustice in the first place, if we didn’t, everyone would be provided with a Living Income Guaranteed to make sure that they have enough to sustain themselves and their families.

The Equal Life Foundation has drafted such a solution, it’s called a ‘Living Income Guaranteed’, it’s all laid out, it’s a charitable programme because someone has done all the work for free so that you just have to join it, spread the word about it, you just have to consider stopping entertaining fantasies about solving the world problems by giving 30 euros a month, the equivalent to less than 10 lattes at Starbuck, to a good cause, to ensure that some get a chance to live.

This world will change through our direct participation, there will be no remote solutions, no ‘adopting a child at a distance’ that can save the life of 30000 children that die every day of preventable diseases, only a change in the economic structure of the system can do so, and that is the only Charitable choice we can make for Christmas, to grant to all what we claim to have a right for, A Life and that will have to be as close and personal as we can get, one by one standing for an irreversible Change, until it’s done.

Day 328: When McDonald doesn’t pay a Living Wage – You Do

mcdonald budget

Recently  McDonald teamed up with Visa to ‘help’ their workers to make it to the end of the month.

For the sake of understanding this point fully I went and looked for the Mc-Visa budget journal, for sure when two giants such as McDonald and Visa get together, people who had the ability to MasterMind billions of dollars for themselves, you never know, there may be something we can learn from them, could it be that they know how to stretch a dollar in ways we have not considered?

The first thing that I found interesting was the discrepancy between the budget they drew up and what was published by those that reviewed it, in the first budget there was no money accounted for heating – this being a point that proves the disconnection between those that live up in the high floors of those corporations, where do they live, are they even human?  I was briefly in New York for 6 days and spent them inside central Station because the temperature outside was -17 centigrades in February, every year you read of people dying of cold in New York – are they McDonald Employees? This small change, heating, diminished their ‘spending money from 27/day to/day on the projected budget.

Please consider that this vast amount set aside for daily spending includes clothing, food, entertainment and transport, they have only counted your car purchase not the petrol, possibly because they have ways and technologies unknown to the populace that prevent them from relating to the reality of those at the bottom, maybe they drive nuclear cars, Tesla cars, water fuelled cars, maybe they convinced their driver that it his privilege to pay for their petrol, who knows what goes on up there…

The other point that I found comical (and tragic) was that they added 2 jobs to make ends meet, now there is no need to even go further into their calculations, because the point that you considered that your employee must have a second job to be able to live, means that YOU KNOW that what you give him is not a Living Wage  -by any means.

Normally when people with common sense put their pen to paper, they do so to compare if what they have in their Minds is applicable and workable in reality, any Human Resource Director with average intelligence would not have posted that, specifically if he  were trying to prove that his employees are just poor at math and he would show them how it is done.

Instead they went ahead and did post it, so, here is the Resulting Ideal McDonald Employee

He is a childless adult – and will stay that way until he dies

How do we know? well,  we’ll have him work 2 jobs, one, ours, the main one is 40 hours a week, to get an extra 900 USD they have to put in another 20/30 hours a week at the same minimum wage – that comes to 12 to 14 hours a day of work – unless you include weekends, which will leave you so rotten you’ll forget all about sex – plus if you work between 60 to 70 hours a week you would need childcare money – which we don’t give you – there goes a company with a social conscience — don’t we always say the population on earth must be reduced?

He is strong like a mule

he can work 60 to 70 hours a week, that alone takes a lot of stamina, you must be in excellent health conditions for that, this is why we did not budget any healthcare money for you, 20 dollars a month in healthcare will get you band aids and aspirin which is the most you should need – you have no contraceptive costs because we solved that at point 1

He is not into fashion or fancy clothing – or clothing at all

This is why we did not budget for useless clothes when he can comfortably live all his life wearing our provided uniform, even during his second job, many would scream for an opportunity such as this – uniforms are washed by us (are they?) so no laundry costs of any kind – which we did not in fact budget in any way

He is not into buying a home

He can’t with the wage we give him or the second job, we budgeted 600 dollars a month for rent or mortgage, but a mortgage now you can only get it with a deposit of 30% in cash, which at the fancy saving budgeted of 100 dollars a month will take him 30 years to save IF housing doesn’t appreciate of 100% like it did in the past 30 years, if it should he has to save for 60 years before he can have the down-payment money, at that age though no one will give him a mortgage but maybe by that time banks will have found ways to extend mortgage debts to their children – oops wait, he can’t have children – then we suggest he rents, there is plenty accommodation for 600 USD a month is the USA, he has to be creative, if he loves living in the open and opts for a tent in some of his friends backyard, he can save most of the money we budgeted for his rent, so it’s just a matter of being industrious and wanting to have a better life – he must want to live the American dream, this is how America got where it is today

He is not a Foodie

We budgeted an astronomical amount for daily expenses, 25 USD a day, of this he can spare at least 10 for food alone, a McMeal costs 1 dollar, enough said.

If this is Your Dream Job – apply at the closest McDonald.

______________________________________

In brief, McDonald meeting Visa is like Alice in Wonderland, they can sustain their dream worlds together for a better future (their own) and somehow they hold the belief that if they can convince others that they don’t need REAL money to live, they may get away with it.

All this would be great and dandy, if they were not asking in return real working hours, then we could all have pretense employments at McDonald where we pretend to go to work and they pretend to pay their employees fairly, instead the make belief world of McDonald is a one way world, they are the only one that want to give an unrealistic compensation to people while they fatten up those on top and keep expanding all over the world with real profits, profiting from the lives of those that work for them.

We support a Living Wage as a Human right, for the simple reason that you need money to live and having a life is not what such a budget shows, having a Life means having Equal opportunities to share this world and what goes on here, it doesn’t mean to give the shitty lives out to live just to some, while some live dream lives in their personal paradise.

If you think that your employees can live on such a wage, you should try it out, see if what you wrote in your budget fits You when you LIVE IT out and then decide.

In Italy one entrepreneur, Enzo Rossi,  who was paying the regular legal wage to his employees of 1000 euro per month, tried to live on it and after 20 days when he went broke he  raised their wage of 20%, not because the Law told him, because his common sense told him that if he could not live on it, nor could his employees, period.

One last point about McDonald’s’ employees that is worth noting,  since they are not given a living wage, as in a wage they can live on, it’s obvious that if and when they don’t won’t have enough to pay for their healthcare, they will use Medicare, if they won’t have enough to eat, they’ll use food stamps, so in the end, YOU are the one paying the living wage to those employees because someone refuses to, is this OK with you? Is it OK to be the one that steps in for the Corporations, who are not willing to share their profits with those that make their profits possible in the first place?

Not that the problem is that you pay with your tax money, that is the last of a long list of problems here, the problem is that a NON living wage stays that way, even when  some smart-ass wants to be clever about it and tries to razzle-dazzle people into believing that it’s enough to live on – when in fact it’s not.

Reality is not changed through our imagination, imagining a fair wage doesn’t make a wage fair, it’s the Money that makes lives fair, a Living wage is fair because it allows people to live, giving people not enough to live in exchange for their time, means that their time=their lives have no worth, they have no worth, and supporting a world that promotes a worthless humanity is not how we will get out of this mess.

Support a Living Basic Income for ALL  instead – that will establish a world of HarMoney, where Money will no longer do Harm but will become a support and a way to give to Each Other Worth and a Life Worth Living.
